Wayland E. Stroud

Wayland E. Stroud, age 84, of Holly, passed away on Friday August 30, 2024 at Fenton Healthcare Nursing Home.  He was born on June 19th, 1940 in Greeneville, TN, the son of Loyd Walter Stroud Sr. and Iva "Willie" Stroud.  He graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1958.  Wayland was a women’s hairdresser for 35 years and an avid Antique collector who enjoyed the hunt for unique items. He had an outgoing personality and his spark and zest for life will be greatly missed.

Preceded by: his parents, Lloyd & Iva Stroud, sister Margie "Tommie" Learn, brother LLoyd W. Stroud Jr., and brother Doyle W. Stroud.

Survivors include children: Tracy Stroud of Arkansas, Jeff (Renalle) Stroud of Missouri , Mark (Kelly) Stroud of Missouri, Carrie "Mouse" (Darrell) Bonesteel of Iowa, and Heather (Jeff) Welker of Michigan.  Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, neice and nephews.
