Victoria V. (Scibor) Moilanen

Miss Victoria V. (nee: Scibor) Moilanen of Howell Michigan, age 77, died April 26, 2020 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Grand Blanc.  She is the beloved mother of Michelle ( Jeff ) Anderson and Brian Moilanen, beloved grandmother of Taylor Anderson, Brother Thomas ( Sue ) Scibor and nieces Amy Alsobrooks, Andrea Williston and nephew Jason Scibor plus many other great nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Villerot and Brother Kenny Scibor.  Victoria was known for her vivacious personality and kind heart. She loved all animals especially her sweet kitty Mikey. She volunteered her time at many animal organizations in the community. Victoria was artistic and creative and after gaining her business degree from Cleary college she went on to open her own calligraphy studio in downtown Brighton. She was a member of the Livingston fine Art Association and the Michigan Association of calligraphers. For 35 years she mastered her trade and won multiple awards for both her calligraphy and photography.  She also loved gardening and plants and was a member of the Fowlerville garden club along with her other social groups like the red hatters and NAMI. There will be a private family gathering with a celebration of life to follow later this year.  Our hearts will forever miss her.
