Victor Corbett Obituary

Victor Raymond Corbett, age 82, died peacefully from complications of Parkinson’s disease on March 19, 2021 at Posey Senior Homes in Fenton, Michigan. A resident of Tampa Florida for 30+ years, he and his wife M. Jane Corbett moved back to the Michigan area in November 2020 to be in the care of family. Victor was born January 14, 1939 to Victor Brook Corbett and Erma Faith Corbett in Utica Michigan and is survived by older brother Gary Corbett, younger brother Timothy Corbett and younger sister Barbara Sousa. His older sister, Irene Ubbenjans passed in February 2021. Victor is also survived by his children, Scott Corbett, Vickie Lewis, and Michael Corbett. Sherry Cherry a middle child passed November 2020. Victor was married to Jane Corbett for 52 years and had no children together. A machine welder by trade, he was a handy man and could fix anything, loved his cats and loved Florida! Victor was a member of the Tampa Bay Orchid Club and loved high speed sports cars. He will be remembered as a character and would always answer the phone “Happy Friday” May he rest in peace!
