Tanya Masters (Walker) passed away February 12, 2021 at her home in Flushing Michigan surrounded by her Family. Born January 18, 1952 to Fred and Doris Walker, Tanya was a loving Mother, Grandmother and GiGi. She enjoyed all things outdoors, camping and spending countless hours tending her flower gardens. She enjoyed painting, crafting and antiquing. She loved going to Bingo, playing cards and board games with her family. One of her most famous lines is “all friendship ceases in a card game.” She was always quick to point out a “cute pooper” and thanks to her smut magazines she always knew the latest Hollywood gossip. Though she was small, she was mighty. She was sweet yet feisty. She is loved beyond measure and will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Doris. And siblings Jeffery, Sheila and Mark. Tanya is survived by Daughters Shawna Myers (Mark Matusik) and Melissa (Jamie) Verkennes. Grandchildren Cameron, Nick (Cera ), Chase, Rylee, Landon, Owen, Daulton and Peyton. Great Grand children Decimus, Athena and Paislee. Brothers Dexter (Jane) Walker and Jess (Jeanette) Walker. Many nephews and nieces, countless friends and adopted sons, daughters and grand kids. She was loved by many. Her Family will be hosting two celebrations of life. The first will be May 15, 2021 in Flushing and the second will be May 22, 2021 in Barton City. Details to follow on Facebook.
