T. Chad Crouch, age 47 of Linden, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2023. Beloved father of Madison (Jason) Metzelburg and the late Tyler Metzelburg.  Dear grandfather of Payton Ashley, Bennett Ashley, Caroline Ashley , Ensley Metzelburg and Leland Metzelburg. Loving son of Thomas C. and Deborah K. VanHaitsma of Linden. Brother of Tammy (Chris) Taylor, Chris Crouch, Matt Crouch, and Emerson Crouch. Chad also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, son, Tyler and uncle, John “Dan” Crouch.

Chad was born on August 18, 1975 to Thomas Charles and Debra Kay (VanHaitsma) Crouch. He worked as a robotics engineer and manager in plastic molds. Chad was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Fenton where he was involved in Christian Resource International, Forgotten Harvest, Bible study and volunteering.  He loved to be outdoors and to go fishing, but he was also happy in front of the TV watching the “big games” in sports, documentaries, MMA or horror movies. Chad relaxed to his -favorite music, reading a non-fiction book or completing a word search or two.
