Steve A. Todd Sr.

Steve Todd Sr, 66, of Durand, MI passed away on January 4, 2022 surrounded by his family after a short battle with COVID-19. Steve was born on November 4, 1955 in Flint MI and graduated from Durand High School in 1973. He was employed by Sharp Transit for 16 years and had just recently retired.

Steve was a master carpenter and used his skills to turn his backyard into a Western Village which was the home of many cowboy parties that were enjoyed by many in the community.  He enjoyed ham radios, CB radios, and flying drones.  He was fluent in Mandarin and loved teaching English.  He taught English to over 1,000 Mandarin speaking students.    

Steve is survived by the love of his life, Jeanine, who was his wife for 46 years; his son Steve Todd II (Marcie), and daughter Jessica (Rick) Rye.  He also had two beautiful granddaughters, Roune Todd and Mila Rye.  Steve will be missed by many other family members, friends and neighbors.

Steve was preceded in death by both his parents and his mother and father in-law.
