Shawn Burton Turner

Shawn B. Turner, age 86 of Columbiaville, formerly of Grand Blanc, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Patricia Turner and the late Jewell Oscar Turner.  Dear father of Robin (Randy) Beach, Shawn (Carolyn) Turner, Tanya Turner, Brett Turner, Kelly (Jerry) Moore, Scott (Stacy) Turner, the late Willard (the late Kathrina) Oscar Jr. and the late Tammy Baird. Brother of Orrin Turner. Brother in law of Thelma Turner. Shawn also leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Shawn was the neighborhood animal lover. He would feed the squirrels, cats and even the mice. He always had dog biscuits in his pocket and every dog in the neighborhood knew it. They would all make sure to stop at Shawn’s for a treat on their walk. Shawn was an avid lottery player, he studied the numbers, made different combinations and crossed his fingers every drawing. Over the years both Shawn & Jewell enjoyed taking trips to the casinos to play the slots. Jewell was the absolute love of Shawn's life and he was ready to be reunited with her in Heaven. He will be greatly missed. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, 1pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Friends may visit beginning at 10am.
