Shawn B. Turner

Shawn B. Turner, age 67, passed away August 28, 2024 at his happy place in Beaverton, MI.  He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Turner; mother; Patricia Turner; father, B. Shawn Turner; stepmother, Julie Oscar; stepbrother; Willard Oscar; and stepsister Tammy Baird.

He leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate Carolyn Turner; children; Cassie (Kaleb) Abalon; stepchildren; Martin Beatenhead, April (Michael) Kelley-Moen, Suzanne (Ryan Adkins) Cook; 12 deeply loved grandchildren; and one great grandson; siblings, Cheyenne (Randy) Beach, Tanya Turner, Brett Turner, Kelly (Jerry) Moore, Scott (Stacy) Turner; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He made friends everywhere he went.  His smile, sense of humor, loud laugh and jokes will be well remembered.  Above all, his longtime friends, Jim (Brenda) Roe stand out.  They had many adventures together and fun stories.

He will be forever remembered for his love of fishing, spending time with family, cooking, building things, kitchen gadgets and tinkering in the garage.

He will be missed forever by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 1pm until the time of his Funeral Service at 4pm at the funeral home.
