Rose Ann (Major) Hetchler

Rose Ann Hetchler, age 78, died January 19, 2026 at home in Byron, MI.

Rose was born on June 6, 1947 to Cortland and Genevieve Major of Howell, Michigan

Rose, married Jack Dallas Hetchler of Linden MI on September 16, 1967 together they had three children Jody (Karl) Kempf of Tecumseh MI, Doug (Jean) Hetchler of Byron MI, Tony (Bridget) Hetchler of Byron MI and grandchildren Jamie, Joe, Madison, Brody, Stu, Darci, Janella and Jamya as well as great grandchildren, Sophia and Emma.

Rose is Survived by her husband of 58 years Jack Hetchler of Byron and her sister, Marsha (Henry) Gutierrez of North Branch.  

Rose is proceeded in death by her parents Cortland and Genevieve Major, her sister Genevieve “Bunny” Brauns, and brothers Eric Major, Cortland “Buzz” Major andWilliam “Bill” Merrow.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10am until the time of her Funeral Service at 11am, at the First Baptist Church of Fenton.
