Ronald Capton, age 76 (5/21/1949 - 11/29/2025), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was a great husband to Kim for almost 41 years - her "Mr. Fixit;" a great dad to Ronald Clayton and Christopher Ronald; a great Papa to Sophie and Chase.
Ron was in the Army Reserves (Artillery Unit) for 6 years at Fort Huachuca AZ. He spent most of his adult life in the automotive industry. At the Chrysler Tank Plant, he designed the turret and hull for the M1A1 Abrams Tank, used in Desert Storm. For GM, he designed Robots for the body sides welding for 7 assembly plants. During construction of the new Lansing Delta Township Plant, he was in charge of the entire body shop layout.
He will be remembered for his humor and creativity. We love you "Mr. Fixit!"
Special thanks to: Sarah Swartz - Mid-Michigan Hospice; Emili Clark RN; Charles Leach CNA; Angie Ball - Asst. Manager Kohl's, Grand Blanc; Cortney Biggs; Heather Hall.
