Roger Edward Thompson

Roger Edward Thompson, age 53, passed away on December 1, 2023. Roger was born on June 29, 1970, son of the late Albert Thompson and Valeria Izzo (Adkins). He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing games, watching movies, animals, drawing, gardening, birdwatching , camping, cooking/baking, bowling, and woodworking. Roger received his GED. Roger is survived by his loving Mother, Valeria Izzo (Adkins) sisters;  Melissa Henke, Mary Hopkins (Gary), Melanie Owens (Eddie), Ronda Owens and Tammy Bartow. His best friend/brother, Dave Branscomb. He had several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, that he loved as his own: Lauren, Kaytlin, Brandon, Tyler, Hannah, Steven, Mark, Logan, Travis, Lillyana, Knox, Kirk, Kayne, Isabella and Louella. Roger was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Thompson, Father Albert Thompson, Sister Marcy Sims, Nephews Joshua, Jacob, Tommy, Grant and Joshua. 

Roger will be missed by many! 

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Community Church of God in Clio at 1215 W. Vienna Rd., Clio, MI. Please visit with the family 11-2 and share memories; the service will be at 2 pm.
