Rodney Dale Green

Rodney Dale Green age 66, of Fenton, passed away at his home on August  13, 2023. Beloved brother of Sandra (Stephen) Landau and Debbie Philippi. Dear uncle of Richard Jr. (Beckie) Philippi and Andrew Philippi. Great uncle of Max & Milo. Brother in law of Richard Philippi Sr. Rodney also leaves many loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jesse(1972) & Lillie(2015). Rodney was a 1975 graduate of Fenton High School and went on to earn his Masters in special education from the University of Michigan-Flint. He was an amazing teacher and loved teaching children. He would travel the country visiting schools and preforming in educational shows and workshops with the Mr. Wizard company. This was the perfect job for Rodney as he loved the theater. He was involved with several theater groups over the years including, U of M theater group and was prop manager for Wishing Well Theater. Recently, Rodney has been a greeter at the Fenton Walmart. He enjoyed his time there and made many friends. Rodney was very well known around town and was loved by everyone who knew him. His zest for life and big smile will be greatly missed.
