Robert E. Newcombe

Robert “Bob” Edward Newcombe age 73, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2025, at LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care in Burton. Bob was born with a younger twin sister on January 3, 1952 in Flint, Michigan.

Bob was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He loved all sports. His favorites were watching the Detroit Tigers baseball games & NASCAR races. Bob loved his children, dogs, and hanging out with his friends.

His legacy will remain in our hearts and will live on through his surviving children, son; Wayne (Traci) Newcombe; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Newcombe (Troy); his grandchildren, Holly, Tyler, Jennessa, and Jasey; his great-grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan, and Eviee; and his younger twin sister, Roberta “Boots” Brown.

Bob was preceded in death with his son, Travis Robert Newcombe; brother,  James “Jim” (Lee)  Newcombe; parents, Maxine (Marshall) George Edward Newcombe; brother-in-law, David “Dave” Brown; and niece, Bethany Brown.
