Robert K. ("Bob") Friesner

Robert K. "Bob" Friesner, age 94, passed away on November 7, 2021. 

Beloved husband of Lois. Dear father of Scott (Suzanne) Friesner,  Lori Friesner and the late Todd (Donna) Friesner  Loving grandfather to Brenna Becker, Kurt Friesner, Lenya Friesner, Amanda Blossfeld and Katherine Rankin. Great grandfather to Milo Becker. 

Bob was born in Lima, Ohio to E.K. and Pearl Friesner . Bob was known for his sharp wit, dry sense of humor and incredible business acumen. He was an athlete growing up and greatly supported his children in their various sports pursuits. Spending time with the family was very important to Bob and his favorite vacation was the annual family gathering at Lake Leelanau. His educational degrees included a BA with Honors and Departmental Honors from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1950 and a MBA with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy and was Vice President of Purchasing for several door companies.

Cremation has taken place and his family will gather for a private celebration of life.
