Ricky A. MacCarreall, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Holly, Michigan on June 21st, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife Renee, daughters Alicia Gaskins & Charlana Diamond, big brother David, nephew Jason MacCarreall, niece Lindsey Keenan, grandchildren John Hornbake, Michaela Clemons, Ericka Diamond, William Gaskins, Caleb Gaskins, and Aiden Diamond, great grandchildren Alek Clemons, Avery Clemons, Greyson Diamond, and Benjamin Diamond. Also, by his lifelong best friend Larry “Leroy” Kalczynski.
Ricky was born in Detroit on July 20th, 1952, to Alicia and Artias MacCarreall. He served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a successful insurance agent for over 30 years. His true passion was the Sport of Kings.… Horse racing. He was a trainer, owner, and gifted handicapper. He loved attending the races with his friends and family, his favorite being the time spent at Saratoga.
The Family is planning private gatherings to celebrate his life in both Holly, Michigan and Florida. Ricky (Mac) will be missed by all that knew him.
