Rexann L. (LaBarr) Wentworth, age 64, of Clio, was called home to her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2026 with her daughter and son by her side after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Rexann was born on June 23, 1961 in Flint, MI as the youngest of three daughters to the late to Rex and Marjorie (LaBarr). Rexann graduated from Clio High School in 1980. She had two children. Rexann was known for her exceptional work ethic. She worked in many roles throughout her life including bookkeeping at the family automotive repair business, teacher’s aide at Mesa (AZ) Public Schools, Pre-School Teacher at Mulberry Bush Christian Care, and most recently in healthcare at McLaren Hospital from 2013 until her passing. Rexann enjoyed many things in life, but nothing more than being “Grammie” to her five grandchildren, Easton, Ryder, Paisley Jackson; and Harper and Grayson Wentworth. Rexann loved listening to music and attending concerts with friends, particularly 1970’s -1980’s rock. She enjoyed spending time with family up north at the family cottage at Torch Lake and searching for Petoskey stones. Rexann loved her Pitties (Darla and Luey) and volunteered at the Genesee County Animal Control. Spending time outdoors doing yard work, gardening, and stargazing were passions of hers. Rexann was an amazing cook / baker and family always looked forward to her Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and summer dinners. Rexann loved drinking coffee and watching the wildlife gather in the backyard. Everyone who crossed paths with Rexann felt her love and kindness. Above all else, she was a devout Christian who attended Trinity First Assembly of God and New Covenant Churches. She is cherished and missed by her daughter, Nicole (Preston) Jackson; son Jordan Wentworth and Heather LeDuc; sister, Renee Pifer; grandchildren Easton, Ryder, and Paisley Jackson, and Harper and Grayson Wentworth; nieces and nephews Dana (Chuck) Markasich, Shannon (Brandon) Leighton, Lindsay (Adam) Uhrig, and Jonathan (Kristina) Smalley, in addition to many extended family members, friends, co-workers and neighbors. Rexann was preceded in death by her father and mother, Rex and Marjorie LaBarr; sister Linda Smalley; former husband Michael Wentworth; mother-in-law Loretta Martin; brother-in-law Wayne Pifer; great nephew Landon Leighton, and many more loving family members. With respect to Rexann’s wishes, no service will be held.
