Patricia S. (Hrudney) Blasco

Mrs. Patricia S. Blasco, age 82, of Holly, passed away on January 8^th of natural causes.  Pat was born on October 8^th, 1937 to Casimira and John Hrudney in Detroit. Welcoming younger sister Marlene (Richard) Dutkiewicz a few years later. After attending St Cyril High School and graduating from Pershing High School, she went on to work for Chrysler and soon met her husband John through mutual friends at a party, of course.  John and Pat got married in 1959, going on to have 3 children, John (Jacqui) Blasco, Vicky (Steven Brody) and Andrew (Margret) Blasco. When Pat, had John, she decided to dedicate her life to be a fantastic and loving mother. Pat put her kids before everything and loved her 7 grandchildren, (Guy, Stephanie and Katelyn (Beauregard), Ashley, Abby, McKinley, and John Phineas Blasco) more than anything in the world. Leaving behind many loved nieces and nephews, friends and anyone who she could pray for.  Whether it was gathering the family to make hundreds of pierogi’s or getting those around her through difficult times, Pat was devoted to shedding light on the lives of family, friends, neighbors and even the lady standing behind her in line at the grocery store. Pat will be remembered for decorating wedding cakes, chatting with friends, singing polkas and making everyone around her feel like they were part of her family.   Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a 7:30pm Rosary Recital at the funeral home.  Mrs. Blasco will lie in state Monday at 10:30am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Holly.
