Nancy Harlene (Giles) Martin

Nancy "Peachie" Harlene Martin (Giles) was born on April 7th 1939 in Flint, Michigan. Nancy was one of eleven children born to Paul F. Giles and Ruth Ida Giles (Beckman). Nancy peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by family on February 13th 2021 at the age of 82.  Nancy is survived by seven of her eight children; Brad Prescott, Cary Prescott, Dale Prescott, April Combs, Eddie Prescott, Randy Thomason, and Joe Thomason, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her surviving sibling is Linda Albert. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, ten siblings, and son Joe Thomason.  Nancy lived a full and happy life. Nancy was a very expressive person. She loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and playing cards. Nancy also enjoyed Gospel songs. Nancy had a sense of humor unlike any other. Her laugh was contagious, her smile infectious. Nancy brought joy and laughter to all that knew her. Nancy was a kind person, to know her was to love her. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. Nancy was a devoted child of the lord, a true believer. She wishes for nobody to feel sad for her, she knew she would be rejoicing in the arms of her loved ones in Heaven. Until we meet again.  Mrs. Martin will lie in state Friday, at 9am at the Swartz Creek Church of Christ until the time of her Funeral Service at 11am.
