Michael Albert Shelly

Michael Albert Shelly, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2023 in Flint Township, Michigan.  He was born March 8, 1965 in Manistique, Michigan to Beverly Lou Shelly (nee: LaLonde) and Clyde James Shelly.  He grew up in Shingleton, Michigan until he was 13 years old, then moved to Munising, Michigan until the following summer, then moved to South Lyon, Michigan after his mothers passing.

He worked in robotics for a while after high school.  He also worked quite a bit with his good friend and cousin, Phillip Livermore doing tree removal and wood work.

He enjoyed doing things with the family and has traveled up north many times, where some family resides.  He last had dinner with some family at Andiamo’s and enjoyed his time.  He also enjoyed playing casino games and watching sports on TV.

He is survived by his siblings, Debra (Scott) Olger of Munising, MI, Rodney (Crystal) Shelly of Royal Oak, MI, and Brenda (Harold) McDonald of Fenton, MI; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; son, Edward “Eddie” Reasner (mother Frances Palmer); daughter, Lindsey Snyder (mother Mitzi Teddy), and son Timothy Testerman (mother Terri Daniels).

He was preceded in death by his parents Beverly Lou Shelly and Clyde James Shelly.

On June 17, 2023 a Celebration of Life will take place in Munising, MI and interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, MI.
