Lorraine K. (Bigelow) Hopkins

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Lorraine K. Hopkins (nee: Bigelow) of Fenton, age 67 on May 25, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lorraine was born January 18, 1956 to Frederick and Marvene (nee: Chappelle) Bigelow.  She was a graduate of Fenton High School, Mott College, and earned a BSN from U of M.  She practiced as a Psychiatric Nurse until her retirement.

She leaves behind sons, Jason (Jennifer) Pattan and David Pattan; nieces, nephews, cousins; and beloved cat O.C.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clair Hopkins.

A special thank you to McLaren Hospice for their excellent care and support. 

A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Noon.  Friend may gather from 10am until the time of her service at Noon.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
