Lois J. (Searight) Putnam

PUTNAM, Lois Jeane (Searight) Age 96, lifetime resident of Fenton, died December 22, 2023. Lois was born on May 26, 1927. She was a graduate of Fenton High School Class of 1945. Lois married L. Ray Putnam on August 18, 1950. She worked in the banking industry most of her life, retiring from Grand Blanc Autoworkers Credit Union (Tri-Point, Genisys). Lois loved to dance and share her lore of Fenton.  She was a true Fentonite. Lois enjoyed the friendships of her card and coffee clubs. She was a lifelong active member of St. Jude’s Episcopal Church. She is survived by Terri (James) Thomas, Eric (Pamela), Clayton (Diane), five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband L. Ray Putnam, both parents, brothers Bill and Bob, and granddaughter Devin. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church, 106 East Elizabeth, Fenton, MI.  Family will receive visitors at 1 until the 2:00 service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Church.
