It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Lee Finch; a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away on April 16,2026.
Linda Finch was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 5, 1948 to Eldon and Mary Herblet. She moved to Fenton, Michigan in her freshman year of high school, and graduated from Fenton High School in 1966.
She met her husband Michael Finch while working at Don’s Drug Store in Fenton, and they were married on June 7, 1969. Together they had one son, Matthew, and have two twin grandchildren named Nathan and Natalie. Linda obtained her Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan Flint and her Masters degree from Eastern Michigan University. She was a teacher in the Holly, Michigan school district for 30 years, mostly teaching 2nd grade.
Linda had a good sense of humor and liked making people laugh. She enjoyed trying to help people and animals by volunteering to help at the soup kitchen in Flint and at Adopt-a-pet in Fenton. She loved listening and singing to music, as motown music was her favorite to listen to. She enjoyed playing golf, gardening, reading, and having dinner and conversation with family and friends.
We will be having a memorial in her honor on Saturday April 25, 2026 at Temrowski Family Funeral Home from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and then after the memorial there will be a brunch at the Fenton Hotel Restaurant.
