Lila Rose (Cutler) Stadler

Lila Rose Stadler, age 80 of Linden, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 in the comfort of her daughter’s home.  Lila was born in 1940 in Linden, MI, the daughter of Donald and Rosanna Cutler.  She was a graduate of Fenton High School class of 1958.  She worked as a waitress for 15 years before becoming employed at GM Metal Fab where she retired from in 2002.  Lila was a kind and generous person.  Her hobbies included spoiling children, rescuing cats, and flower gardening at her home.  She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Steven) Potts of Linden; granddaughter, Katy Potts of Playa Vista, CA; siblings, Russell “Bill” (Mary) Cutler of Bolivar, MO, Myra (Jack) Lambert of Swartz Creek, and Susan (Bill) Jennings of West Branch, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Betty Symons of Fenton, Robert “Bud” Cutler of Linden, Mary (John) Peltier of Linden; and the love of her life for 34 years, Jack Shelton.  The family would like to thank their hospice nurses, Erin Chapman, Christie Cook, Janene Wackler, and aide Lawanda Mance for their compassion, and a very special thank you to Lisa Lahring and Julie Choates for their constant support.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned at a later date.
