Kay Anne (O'Leary) Travis

Kay Anne Travis of Flint was born on May 4, 1952, and passed away in her home, Friday October 14, 2022 (age 70) after a long battle with CRPS (RSD). She is survived by her children; Jason Webb and wife Tuesdee Webb, Kara Pattison (Travis), Amanda Vorndran (Travis) and Lauren Travis. She is survived by brothers: Kris O’Leary, Dan O’Leary, Kevin O’Leary and David Waterman. Also surviving are grandchildren; Tyler Webb, Travis Webb, Brady Webb, Ella Anderson, Vincent Pattison, Lydia Pattison, Ryan Vorndran, Katelyn Vorndran, and great-granddaughter Reagan Webb. Kay was preceded in death by her sisters; Gina Barajas (Waterman) and Kathleen O’Leary and grandson Kyler Johnson. Kay is also survived by her loving friend Susie Sykes of over 50 years. Kay worked as a distributor of plants and a house painter until a fall from a ladder in August of 1999 marked the end of work and the beginning of a pain disorder that she battled until her death.  She loved the outdoors and was very proud of her yard, winning the prize in her park for the best kept yard many years in a row (special thanks to Susie and others for making that happen). She loved animals and her planet and shared that love with anyone willing to listen. She enjoyed reading and discussing true crime and conspiracy theories. She will be remembered by those who love her for her fantastic sense of humor, quick wit and for sharing her opinion whether you asked for it or not.  No memorial service will take place since she was always adamant that she wanted to avoid a big show at the end. Cremation has taken place and she will be dispersed in beautiful places so when her loved ones step out to enjoy nature they can think of her.
