Kathleen (Bennetts) Klein

Kathleen (Bennetts) Klein, age 93, passed away May 19, 2023, peacefully in the loving arms of her granddaughter Alicia and her great granddaughters.  Welcoming Kathleen into Heavens' Gate was her husband Art and son Mark.

Kathleen was born to William and Martha Bennetts September 8, 1929, in Flint, MI.  She married Arthur Klein May 2, 1951 and enjoyed sixty-eight years of marriage.

She was a St. Pius parishioner for several decades.

Kathleen worked at Charter Township of Flint for twenty-three years in the Assessment Department.  Mom enjoyed her cup of tea, sweets and visits from family.  Kay was an avid animal lover and enjoyed fattening up the birds and squirrels in her backyard and sharing cookies with her dog Maggie.

Kathleen was the center of her family spanning five generations.   Left to honor her legacy, Steve (Linda) Klein, Susan (John) Nadworny, Mark (deceased) (Janet) Klein and Sandra Cawood. Fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren, with two more on the way; Patricia Bennetts (sister-in-law); and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur; son Mark Klein; sisters, Dorothy Davis and Marjorie Leach; brothers, Bevan and Jack Bennetts; and special cousin, Dorothy (Wilkes) Barber.

Kathleen had an impact on everyone, especially her family.  She was deeply loved and our memories of her will be treasured forever.  

A Celebration of her Life will be scheduled at a later date. We ask that you have a cup of tea, share your stories and memories with her family.
