Katherine Rainwater

Katherine Rainwater, age 86, of Swartz Creek, passed away November 21, 2025. 

Born and raised in Flint, Kathy graduated from Flint Technical High School and went on to hold many jobs throughout her life. It was never about the money for her though, it was her love for children, and her time spent volunteering that mattered most to her. She found joy in teaching children how to read and passing on her love for music.

She is survived by her daughter Robin (Mark Pickvet) Rainwater; granddaughter Kate (Edward) Ferguson; and two cherished great-granddaughters, Fiona and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother, David Renner. 

She will be missed beyond words.
