Josefina Reyes

Josefina Reyes, 76, of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully at McLaren Hospital on
October 3rd, 2023. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico on September 23rd 1947 to
Nicholas and Ariana Rosas, and was the youngest of seven siblings. She was a
dedicated employee of McLaren hospital and Hurley medical center over the course of
her career. Josefina is survived by her ex spouse Ricardo Reyes, her three children
Lorena Yezer, Jeannette Perite, and Richard Reyes, as well as her four grandchildren,
Nicole, Thomas, Nick, and Andrew. As a loving and caring mother and grandmother
she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren grow up. She was a big Michigan
Wolverine and Detroit Tiger fan, a notoriously great cook, and she motivated her family
to keep moving forward, carry on, and never give up.
