Jody Lynn (DuVall) Lewis

Jody Lynn Lewis, age 56, of Flushing, MI, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025. Jody was born on June 15, 1968, to Joan and Clifford DuVall. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jody was known for her immense love for her husband, as well as her children and grandchildren. She found her deep love for the Lord later in life, and her faith became a central part of who she was. She made the Lord a priority in her life, finding comfort and strength in her beliefs. In her final moments, Jody recited verses from the Bible, a testament to the strength of her faith and her unwavering connection to the Lord. Her love for Him and her family was evident in everything she did.

Jody had a deep connection with her dogs and a special fondness for warm weather and the beach, often seeking solace in the sun and sand. Her infectious laughter and radiant smile were just a few of the many qualities that lit up every room she entered. Her signature scent and sparkling big blue eyes will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.

Jody's legacy is one of love, laughter, and connection. She touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and the friendships she fostered. The love she shared will continue to live on through the many people she impacted.

A service in honor of Jody will be held at The Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton, MI 48430, on February 22, 2025. The service will be open to family from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with visitation from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Services will begin at 3:00 PM.

Jody will be remembered forever for the love she gave, the joy she brought to everyone around her, and her unwavering faith.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Lewis; children Tyler (John) Sanderson, James (Alyssa) DuVall, and Mason (Creed); grandchildren Isabella, Kaleb, Gabe, Titan, and Finley; her dogs Gunner and Rueger; her mother, Joan Hodges-DuVall; siblings Kevin and Todd DuVall; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford DuVall; brothers Mike, Rick, and Mark DuVall; stepfather David Hodges; and grandparents Floyd and Mary Shaffer, Stanley and Elverna Smalley.
