James W. Edwards

James William Edwards passed away at the age of 32 on Thursday, May 12th, 2022.  He is survived by his beloved son Peyton James Edwards; his son’s mother, Ashley Cramer Fowler; parents James L. Edwards and Mary Monroe; brothers, Michael and Matthew Monroe; longtime girlfriend Alex Goodman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rita and William Edwards, Marilyn and Dale Brown; and Aunt and Uncle Shirley and Richard Downie.  A 2007 graduate of Carman-Ainsworth High school he received his bachelor degree in education from Oakland University in 2013. He enjoyed spending his time playing darts and singing karaoke.  He leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled. He will be remembered for his bright eyes, beautiful smile, and his joyous soul lives on forever.  Per his wishes, Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held.
