James Willis Colwell

James W. Colwell, age 85, passed away on February 6, 2021. Beloved husband of Janeice.  Dear father of Vincent (Rita) Colwell, Steven Melchor, Robert (Tammy) Colwell, Dina Colwell, Wauneita (Jeff) Polidan and Stephen (Tammy Schaefer) Colwell. Loving grandfather of Jeremy Fecteau, Leah (Collin) Pinilis, Jason Fecteau, Jessica Polidan, Kristina (Eric) Hubarth, Andrew Colwell, Ashley Colwell, Justin Melchor and James Melchor. Great grandfather of Robby, Tinley, Paisley, Russell, Oliver and Eliana. Brother of Loretta Gauthier. James also leaves many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 13, from 2-4pm. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
