Geraldine E. (Norton) Middleton

Geraldine Elizabeth Middleton “Geri”, age 82, of Flint, MI, went to be with the Lord February 15, 2021.  She retired from the Secretary of State in 2002, formerly employed at A.C. Spark Plug in Flint.  Throughout Geri’s life she became an avid golfer, bowler, and reader.  She was also a long standing member of Woodmen of The World.  Throughout these passions, Geri obtained many friendships that she cherished deeply.  Geri’s spunk and strong willed personality left a footprint in life that could never be measured.  She was a loving mother who never gave up on her children.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her children, Cary Ewing, Tim Ewing, Joseph(Barbara) Ewing, and Dawn(Garth) Leland; daughter in law, Heidi Ewing; grandchildren, Cary(Katie) Ewing, Kelly(Tiffany) Ewing, Erin Ewing, Alexis(Travis) Roysden, Kadi(Bob) Gronek, and Kristi(Damen) Tomasik; and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents, Mary and Royce Norton; son, Eric Ewing; daughter in law Heike Ewing; and grandson, Adam Ewing.  A family and friends memorial will be held at a later date.
