Garth B. Tunnigley

Garth Bradley Tunningley died June 11, 2020 at home following a week in the hospital.  He was born March 24, 1979 and lived most of his life in Argentine Township.  Surviving is his mother, Carol Jedele Tunningley; and was preceded in death by his father,  Gerald "Jerry" Tunningley.  Garth graduated from Linden Community Schools in 1997 and had a business degree in marketing  from  University of Michigan Flint. His career included working in golf pro shops, buying and selling stocks, and price control expert and several marketing ventures.   He loved golfing, grilling, his cat “Libby”, and Star Wars.  He was adamant in his beliefs. He researched everything extensively on his phone.  He had a special group of friends who would meet on Tuesday evenings to watch a TV show.  A special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for the wonderful care they gave us.  He leaves behind his mother, family and friends to cherish his memory.   A memorial will be held at a later date.  Donations in Garth’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church at myshepherdchurch.com or P.O.Box 715 Linden, MI 48451, or the Flint Junior Golf Association, P.O.
