Fiore (Lee) Lino Bertoni, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on March 13, 2022 at the age of 65. He was born July 5, 1956 to Fiore Lino Bertoni, Sr. and Josephine Louise (Carlini) Bertoni in Detroit, MI. As a child he attended Guardian Angels Catholic School in Clawson, MI, and graduated from Clawson High School in 1974. Lee followed in his father's footsteps and became a carpenter by trade. Lee contributed to many of the iconic buildings in the Detroit area, as superintendent for the majority of the time. The Southfield Town Center complex was his most notable build. On September 4, 1982 he married the love of his life, Cynthia Lee (Robinson) Bertoni in Lapeer, MI. He went on to start his own business, Bertoni & Company, in 1992 and most recently was a superintendent for several projects for the city of Royal Oak before he retired in 2021. Lee was known by everyone for his great stories, devious sense of humor, and the importance his family held in his life.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Cynthia Bertoni; children Amber Bertoni, Brittani (Matloc Mosher) Bertoni, Anthony Bertoni, Fiore (Emily) Bertoni, and CaraMia (Andrew Miller) Bertoni; grandchildren Xaiden Graham, Elizabella Graham, and Rosalia Bertoni-Mosher; mother Josephine Bertoni; sisters and brothers; Sandra Pyott, Tony (Rose Mendola) Bertoni, Madolin Barry, John Jeffrey, Duane (Noreen) Robinson, and Veneita (Valmore) Chapin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
