Donna E. (Pawluk) Tierney

Donna E. Tierney (nee: Pawluk), age 63 of Flushing, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 28, 2022 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.  

Donna was born on April 28, 1958 to Walter and Dorothy Pawluk.  She married the love of her life, John Tierney in 1989, and was employed for many years as office manager at both Genesee County Community Mental Health and Hope Network.

After retirement, Donna enjoyed spending summer days at their cottage in Lewiston.  She was devoted to her dog “Lexi” and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Lori of Denver, Co; siblings, Gail(Ken) Santa and Bill(Staci) Pawluk; nieces, Lesley, Katie, Sara and Macy; nephews, Carl(Jackie) Pawluk, Andrew, and Marc(Molly) Santa; and special friends, Mary and Becky.  The family would also like to acknowledge their close friends Ron and Lori Fournier and the dedication and assistance of caregiver, Tess Terrell.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy and brothers, Michael and Barry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Genesee County Food Bank.
