Diane (Burlingame) Chapman

Diane Chapman, age 65, peacefully passed away on July 30, 2024. Beloved mother of Rachel (Michael) Kopera and Erik (Alaina) Chapman. Loving grandmother of Jacob, Sophie, Max and coming soon, Eleanor Diane. Dear sister of Donald (Cheryl) Burlingame. Diane also leaves many extended family members and the courtyard Manor and Caro Center communities. She was predeceased by her parents Marie McKenzie and Donald Edwin Burlingame and her brother Danny Burlingame. Diane was an avid gardener, and incredibly kind to everyone she met. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her younger years and loved beautiful things. "Diane was love", explained her best friend, Kathy Hoover. Diane, married to Leif Chapman, had a great sense of humor and the most infectious laugh. Everyone who knew Diane was charmed by her beauty: inside and out. During Diane's later adulthood she bravely battled schizophrenia. The illness never took her sweet kindness. Diane will be missed by all who knew her. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 1pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton, MI. Friends may visit beginning at 11am. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton.
