Deborah A. (LaForest) Kline

Deborah Ann Kline, age 71, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was born on December 23, 1953, in Bethesda, MD. She lived most of her life in Flint and Flushing, MI, finally settling in Swartz Creek in 2012. She is survived by her brother Lawrence (Butch) Laforest, sister Belinda (Lindy) Sobonya, and sister Patricia (Trish) Huber; son William "Bill" Shoup and son Jeremy Kline; grandchildren Samantha and Shayla Shoup and Sylvia, Patrick, Brennan and Fiona Kline, and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved husband Harold. Debbie loved her dogs, Bella and Easy, like they were her adopted kids.  She was an incredible mother, grandma, sister and friend. She never missed a birthday, a holiday, or special times with the family. She always enjoyed a “good chat” on the phone… and she was a talker!  She was a great woman; thoughtful, caring, and kind. She loved well and cared deeply for those close to her. She was loved greatly by her family and friends and will be missed immensely. No services will be held at this time.
