DeEtta Marie Todd

It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to DeEtta Marie Todd, age 73, who passed away July 2022.  She is survived by her siblings, Leo (Janet,) Pam (Steve,) daughter Christine and grandchildren: Jason, Jessica, Ashley and Jacob along with many nieces and nephews.

DeEtta enjoyed sunshine drives in her beloved truck to visit her sister, Charlevoix, enjoying their coffee on the porch on a summer’s day was something she cherished deeply.

De Tour Village, in the upper peninsula, was her very favorite place, holding many memories of her grandchildren when they were young, enjoying outdoors, taking a break from the busy city, living rustically, even for a short while.  She will rest there for eternity, happily.

It brought her so much joy, simply speaking to her granddaughter and sister, each and every morning.  She frequently expressed that it made each day begin happily for her.  Those quick hellos and I love yous starting the day, will be missed beyond measure.

She was the best grandmother, always worrying about her grandchildren before herself.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends but will rest in her “happy place” forever, joining her father whom she missed dearly, being his “peanut,” as well as in her family’s hearts.
