David Anthony Elliott “Dave”, passed away October 19, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center on Sweetest Day. Dave was a loving grandfather and father. He was born in Flint Michigan. He grew up with his younger brother Michael. He graduated from Central Community High School. After his graduation he served in the Navy during Desert Storm. He then worked at Hicks. During his time at Hicks he married Elsie Wright and adopted her son Jonathon. Later, unfortunately, they divorced, but he continued to raise and love Jon.
Throughout the majority of his life he was an avid hunter and fisher. He would frequently feed the animals that ventured to his yard. He also enjoyed science, technology, billards, and love. He wrote many poems in his youth and continued throughout the years. He loved his family and his country.
David survived by his brother; Michael Elliott. His child Jonathon (Kori) Knightbell. His stepdaughter Angelica (Jason) Wright. His grandchildren; Caspian Knightbell, Josiah Davis, Jayson Davis, and Brooklynn Knox.
He was a great man and was cherished and respected by his friends and family. He never stopped fighting. He never stopped loving. He will be missed and remembered.
