Daniel Lee Morse

Daniel L. Morse, age 70, died February 21, 2021. Beloved husband of Jackie. Loving son of Betty Call and the late Douglas Morse. Dear father of Jennifer (Dean), Kristina (Brian) and Chad (Kyleigh). Papa of Kaylee, Karmen, Christopher, Alyssa, Andrew, Tommy, Tyler and Lauren. Great papa of Dakota, Logan, Remi and Daisy. Brother of Penny (Bill) Raymond. Dan also leaves nieces and nephews.  Dan was former Mayor of Gaines and served on the Swartz Creek Fire Department for 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and would take anyone who wanted to go. He was a jack of all trades and was excellent at building, electrical and plumbing. You could always count on Dan if you needed help.  The grandkids and great grandkids were very special to Dan and he loves spending time with them and teaching them. He will be greatly missed.  A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
