Daniel Clyde Hough, 78, of Flushing, Michigan, passed peacefully away in Grand Blanc, MI on March 16th, 2021 with his wife and children by his side. He was born in Detroit, MI on November 23rd 1943. Daniel graduated from De La Salle High School and attended Ferris State University. He started AIT which became the largest aftermarket axle company in Europe, Asia, Canada and the United States at age 63. He has done business all over the world as a successful and highly respected entrepreneur, as well as being a loving father to his children, Dan and Cheri. Daniel and wife Margie Hough would have spent their 23rd wedding anniversary March 21st, 2021 and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anyone who knew Daniel knew him as a kind and hard-working man who always wanted everyone to be happy and having a good time and loved to bring people together. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Clyde Hough; his sister, Judith Licavoli; and brother, Jerry Hough. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Hough; his children and their spouses, Daniel and Michelle Hough as well as Cheri and Steven Richmond; his grandchildren, Ashley, Sam, and Lucas Richmond and Dan and Ryan Hough; his ex-wife, mother to his children, and friend, Carol Hough; and many friends he had made through his life. Due to current Covid restrictions there will not be a public funeral service at this time.
