Craig William Searight- Age 76, of Fenton, died October 10, 2024. Craig was born in Flint on July 17, 1948 to William Homer and Virginia Carol (Poppy) Searight. He was raised in Fenton. He graduated from Central Michigan University with multiple master's degrees. He spent his career in Community Education, Educational Administration and Counseling. He worked at Mott Community College, Michigan Intermediate School Districts, and retired from Tuscola Technical Center in Caro, MI. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and the ultimate handyman. He enjoyed running, hiking, camping, folk music, cookies, Coffee with friends, and spending time at the Higgins Lake family cottage. He married Geraldine Zavis on April 23, 1988. He is survived by loving wife Geri, daughter Jeanne (Josh Merillat), future grandchild, sisters Janice VonSeggern of Greensboro, NC, Judy (Michael) Cook of Lennon, MI, brother Marc Searight of Flint, MI, cousins Terri (Jim) Thomas, Eric (Pam) Putnam, Clayton (Diane) Putnam and many more cherished family and friends. There will be a Visitation only on Saturday, November 2nd, 11-1 at the Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton, MI.
