Christopher James Niestroy

Christopher James Niestroy, age 60, passed away on October 16, 2022. Beloved husband of Kathryn.  Dear father of Chrysa Niestroy, Kaitlyn ( Patrick Sivyer) Niestroy, Meghan (Joshua) Bowers, Jarrett (Sydney McNeil) Niestroy, Camryn Niestroy and the late Raelyn Niestroy.  Pa of Mason, Bree, Bennett, Kinsley, Gunnar and Calen.  Son of James Vernon and Florence Niestroy. Brother of Beth Morrow Niestroy and James William (Sue ) Niestroy. Son in law of Joy (the late David) Meagher. Brother in law of William (Jeanne) Meagher. Chris also leaves many nieces, nephews and his special dog Neon, as well as, grand dogs, Peanut, Ralph, Harley and Rocco. Chris was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, especially in the UP. The two favorite places of Chris’s to visit were the family cabin in Oscoda, Michigan and the vacation rental on Pawley’s Island in South Carolina. He enjoyed many family trips and made lifelong memories. Chris was in the custom sign business his entire life and the owner of CJ Signs & Lighting in Milford.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday 5pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Friends may visit Thursday beginning at 2pm until the time of service at 5pm. Contributions may be made to the family in memory of Chris.
