Carol Marie (Rockwell) Samples

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Marie Samples, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 79.
Carol was born on September 11, 1945, and from the moment she entered this world, she was a force of love and joy to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Carol’s greatest passion was her family. A devoted wife, mother, nana, and great-grandmother, she poured her heart into making her family feel cherished and adored. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Carol had a zest for life that was contagious. She found beauty in every day, whether it was on a quiet walk, hosting a BBQ or cookout, or embarking on one of her many adventures across the country. She loved to travel, always seeking new experiences, meeting new people, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Her famous cookouts and BBQs were more than just meals; they were gatherings where everyone felt like family. Her love for food was matched only by her love for those she served, and her generosity knew no bounds. Carol was a woman who lived with an open heart and was always ready to give, whether it was a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a home cooked meal.
Carol’s warmth and kindness will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as her many friends and extended family. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St. Fenton MI 48430 on Saturday, July 26th from 12 Noon until the time of Memory Sharing at  2:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Carol. You were truly loved, and your spirit will forever be with us.
