Carl Dean Campbell

Mr. Carl Dean Campbell, age 91 of Fenton, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away surrounded by his family on December 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Maretta for 71 years. Dear father of Carla (Bryan) Gould and the late Michael (Mary) Campbell. Loving grandpa of Doug, Andy, Nate, Amy and the late Rachel.  Great grandpa of Maggie, Jane, Caroline, Sophie, Tyler, Jace, Michael, Brayden, Drake, the late Hannah and the late Edward. Carl also leaves two of his 11 siblings; Richard Campbell and Betty Kaiser. Carl had a passion for his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Through the years Carl and Maretta would take many trips to see the kids and had many adventures camping with them. The pair also traveled all over the world, including an African Safari, touring Brazil, Europe, Alaska and Hawaii.  They also loved to cruise. Carl was an avid car enthusiast. He loved working on cars, even building a Model A and a few dune buggies. No services will be held at this time. Contributions may be made in Carl’s name to the American Cancer Society.
