Beverly Lynn Mills (nee: Davidson), died November 29, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. She is the beloved wife of Edward “Jack” Mills who survives her at Brookdale Grand Blanc Assisted Living in Holly. She was an Elementary School Counselor, artist, and advocate for ecology. Beverly had many friends and supporters including Barb Haines, Jack’s widespread family, and members of St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Fenton.
Beverly was born June 1, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan and earned both a BA and MA at the University of Michigan. She met Jack, originally of Perry, New York, while they were teaching on Long Island, NY. After a stint in the Catskills they moved to Mt. Clemens and eventually to Holly, MI. While on summer hiatus they enjoyed traveling both nationally and internationally. Highlights included an audience with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the Dalai Lama and many natural wonders especially the Pike Bay Region of Canada. Beverly and Jack worked for many causes and have been second parents to her sister Deb (Rick) Davies's, children Bets and Steve (Evette) and their children, Yago and Rex who will, as Bets says, love her forever.
