Beverly Jane (Darby) Gibeaut

Beverly Jane (Darby) LaLonde Gibeaut, age 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 23, 2025.

Beverly was born November 12, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Elizabeth and Elbert Darby. She graduated from Kearsley High School and went on to have a career as an insurance agent. She retired from Frankenmuth Mutual after more than 50 years in the business. She got married and had 3 beautiful daughters, Catherine, Susan and Elizabeth.

Beverly was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She enjoyed golfing when she was younger, arts and crafts and was an amazing seamstress. She loved quilting and making beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She recently discovered a new passion for painting and did it as often as she could. She enjoyed spending time playing cards with her friends at Abbey Park who will remember her for her friendliness and laughter.

Her truest love was her family. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. She would brag about her kids, grandkids and greats with so much love and pride.

Beverly will be missed everyday. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Chuck Darby, and her husbands William LaLonde and Charles Gibeaut. She is survived by brother, Jerry Darby, sisters, Jane Darby, Sue Nehonsky (Chuck), Kelly Bruff (Mark), Barb Lewis (Dan) and Wendy Navin (Steve). Her daughters, Catherine Pratt, Susan Adkins, Elizabeth Struck (Ronald), step-children Eric Gibeaut (Bonnie), Andy Gibeaut, Jeff Gibeaut and Greg Gibeaut. Her grandchildren Sarah Quigley (Dan), Jennifer Krupp (Joe), Adam Hayden (Kristyn), Eric Whisnant (Ashley), Rachel Jones (Chris), Christopher Struck (Ashley), Emily Lauritzen and Brandon Pratt (Christena) and great grandchildren Abraham Hoeppner, Ryan Whisnant, Bentley Whisnant, Dylan Pratt, Liam Quigley, Charlotte Jones, Finn Quigley and Cole Jones. 

No service will be held. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
