Mary “Beth” Grohoski of Flint, MI, age 85 died peacefully on March 13, 2023. Beloved wife of the late James Edward Grohoski. Loving mother of 7 children; Jim (Gwen) Grohoski of Fenton, MI, Dan (Cheri) Grohoski of Lake Orion, Mike Grohoski of Flint, MI, Dave Grohoski of Woodbridge, VA, Tonya (George Evans) of New York, NY, Andrea (Pat) Szymczak of Grand Rapids, MI, and Matt (Sharyn) Grohoski of Palm Harbor, FL. Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren; Jim Grohoski, Billy Grohoski, Nicholas (Nikki) Grohoski, Lyzz Hope, Stephanie (Michael) Mulligan, Anastasia (Jamie) Ryan, Max (Caleigh) Grohoski, Thaddeus (Erica) Grohoski, Teresa (Matt) Holmes, Josef (Marissa) Grohoski, Mary-Kate Grohoski, Joe (Sarah) Szymczak, Tyler (Ashley) Szymczak, Alex Szymczak, Nicole Szymczak, Lindsey Grohoski, and Justin Grohoski. Beth also leaves 22 great grandchildren. Sister of Marty Piper and the late Cathy Rademacher. Mrs. Grohoski’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 11am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint. Friends may visit on Friday, March 17, 4-8pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home 500 Main Street, Fenton. The Holy Rosary will be prayed Friday evening at 7pm. Beth will also lie in state on Saturday, beginning at 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place next to her husband at Old Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint.Contributions can be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Beth was a devout Catholic and true woman of The Lord. She was always taking care of others and contributing to the church in several ways; from gardening the church grounds to cleaning the vestibule. She belonged to the Women’s Guild and the St. Joseph Workers Organization. When Beth wasn’t volunteering, she enjoyed cooking new recipes, reading and spending time with her family.
