Barbara A. (Cole) Palmatier

Barbara A. Palmatier, age 75 of Flushing, formerly of Durand, passed away surrounded by her family on July 19, 2022. Beloved wife of Charles. Dear mother of Darylann (Chad) Raymond, James (Shiela) Ownsby and Bob Ownsby. Step mother of Kevin (Emily) Palmatier and Adam (Ronda) Palmatier. Loving grandma to Taylor Johnson, Telly Johnson, Jordyn Raymond, Robert Ownsby, and Travis Ownsby and step grand kids. Great grandma of Braelynn Johnson, Jamison Johnson, Finley Sue Ownsby, Raycheal Ownsby, & Alexandrea Ownsby. Sister of Sandy Sage, Tammy Clark, Kathy Blankenship, & brother Gerry Clark. Barbara also leaves behind her favorite aunt Sylva Crandell. She was preceded in death by father Oliver Wendell Cole and Mother Auda Faye Clark (Yarger).

The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice for the wonderful end of life care for Barbara. A special thank you to her nurse Sara. Also a very special thank you to Sandy Sage (sister), Karen Wood (Niece) for taking care of Barbara at Sandy’s home in her final days on this earth. We love you and can’t thank you enough. Special thank you to Gail and Kathy for helping with moms care, we are forever grateful.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 1pm at the Durand Eagles Club #3851, 5240 South New Lothrop Road, Durand.  Friends may visit beginning at 12noon.
