Andrew "Andy" Bunting

Andrew H. Bunting "Andy", age 58, passed away on June 22, 2023. Beloved father of Madeline (Shawn Martin) Bunting and Alex Bunting. Loving grandpa of Nash. Dear brother of Ellen (Ken) Bunting Schwartz and Steve Bunting. Uncle of Andrew Schwartz, Jason Schwartz and Elizabeth Bunting: Andy also leaves his Basset Hound Henry and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Evelyn Bunting and uncle James (Jan) Bunting.

Andy was a hard worker, he spent 33 years with the Oakland County Road Commission. When he wasn't putting in overtime at work he was usually outside.  Much of the time his dog Henry was by his side but Andy loved all dogs. He was an avid golfer, belonging to Spring Meadows Country Club for many years. The water and boating were some of Andy’s favorite things and he enjoyed many great times on Lake Fenton and surrounding lakes. Andy always looked forward to his trips to South Carolina where he spent much time on the beach and southern courses. He was always up for a good game of euchre and was a loyal Lions fan, or just a Lions tailgate fan. Andy will be deeply missed.

A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, June 29, 5-7pm at Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Donations can be made in Andy’s name to last chance dog rescue or Detroit dog rescue.
