Alfred Manser II Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Alfred John Manser Sr. (aka Big Al) announces his passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the age of 85 years. He was born March 21, 1935 in Detroit, MI, the son of Alfred and Anna Manser. Alfred was a Surveyor in the US Army – 82nd Airborne Corps from 1959 until 1961. He worked over 40 years in the produce industry as a Produce Inspector and Broker and enjoyed wood working, gardening, fishing and hunting. Alfred will be lovingly remembered by his children, Melissa (Paul), Al (Michelle) and Krista. Alfred will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren, Gavin, Sophia, Lukas, Alexis and Kali. Alfred was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Anna, wife Nancy, sister Shirley and brother Richard.A Memorial Service in memory of Alfred will be held at a later date.
